Most areas of the UK could be covered but to make it economically viable for you, our service is generally restricted to Northern England (covering the old county areas of Cheshire, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Durham, Northumberland, Cumberland and Westmorland). Other locations are negotiable - please contact us to discuss your requirements. Costs: Travel costs will be based on the government recommended rate of UK£0.40 per mile. Distances will normally be calculated from our home location (marked FHP on the map). However, an alternative base (marked FHP 2 on the map) may be used to calculate distances if this would reduce costs. Research will be carried out at the rate of UK£9 per hour. Local research for photographs (e.g. map location and consultation) is necessary for all assignments but the amount of research is determined by the detail of the information supplied. (E.g. the location of a gravestone in a named church would take less time to find than a gravestone in a named town.) Photography costs will be calculated as follows: One location: Up to 25 digital images (JPEG format) of several sites. UK£18.00 Multiple locations: Up to 50 digital images (JPEG format) of several sites. UK£36.00 Digital images can be sent via email at no extra cost. Copying of the images to CD or DVD and airmail delivery will be at a cost of UK£5.00 We use PayPal as a secure method of payments, with no extra cost to the customer. Alternatively, cheques may be sent to a provided address, if preferred. As an example, 25 uploaded images of a single town 30 miles from our base could cost as little as: UK£24 travel + UK£9 for map / location research + UK£18 photography, making a total of just UK£51. Obviously, every request is individual and so we would ask you to contact us and discuss your requirements, without obligation, and we shall endeavour to negotiate a suitable package and provide an accurate estimate of costs.
